Bad Influence - "Dream 4ever" (SHORT SNIPPET, PAL TONE)

Published 2024-04-28
Around July 3, 2021, Facebook user Jitomate Triste uploaded an edit of Disney's animated adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, featuring an unknown rock song that plays for over a minute. The original post didn't attract much attention, and shortly after, Jitomate closed his account, and the post was removed with it.
The video was reuploaded to YouTube by a user named @bluxid_4696 a couple days later, where the song gained more traction than the Facebook post and later kickstarted a search. Many have speculated it came from Latin America due to the singer's accent, and many bands, including an Oasis tribute band called Los Idlers, and an English-language Latin American band Gin & Tonic have been speculated, but have all been debunked. The song, nicknamed "La canción de Alicia." or "Under the Stars," has been one of the most sought-after lostwave songs in the community, with Bluxid's video having over 440k views. A cover and recreation by @richardvox6457 has garnered over 800k views on YouTube, becoming one of the most popular Lostwave covers in the community.
More than 2 weeks after this upload, Reddit user r/JMike_324 was talking with his university friend about the previously unknown song, and his friend recognized it from the Peruvian band Bad Influence, claiming to know a member of the band. The song was discovered on the band's Facebook as a live performance. The original song is nowhere to be found, but as soon as the original recording is found, it's PALing time.

The singer's voice and accent actually does sound like a Chilean or Argentinian person, I say this as a Chilean and as a neighboring country of Argentina

PAL tone makes it sound better than its original NTSC tone
