Very important: “Vous” isn’t only use for the plural of “tu/you”. It is a must to use “vous” instead of “tu” when talking to an unfamiliar person, an older person, your boss etc... ‘tu” is very familiar so anyone that isn’t your friends, family, or colleague, you should use “vous” when talking to them otherwise it is considered very rude and way too familiar.
