I don't think the turnout for Charles will be nearly as large as it was for Elizabeth.

Queen Elizabeth II was Queen "regnant" not queen "regent" They're pronounced differently and have very different meanings.

4:01 It's queen regnant , not queen regent. A queen regnant is a monarch. A queen regent is the adult guardian of a child monarch and rules in their stead until that child comes of age. So, like, if for some reason Prince George finds himself crowned king at the tender age of 9, the queen regent's job would basically be holding the throne for him.

I like King Charles, but boy, i missed Queen Elizabeth. She was something special we had.
  • @ShiftyCDN
I mean, we just kind of went through this with the Queen?
  • @sabrod92
you'll never know what I said
  • I think we havent even processed yet thats hes king and now we have to think about him passing away

charles isn't as popular and respected as Queen Elizabeth, people are just gonna be happy that William finally become the king. I mean after all these years a lot of people are still mad at what he did to princess diana and almost all popularity of diana transfer to william, so.... And this is such a waste of money knowing this old man ain't gonna live long but still need to change all the official documents (e.g. passport, currency, etc.) to his name and his face.

Queen Elizabeth II was not queen "regent", she was queen "regnant". Similar sound but quite a difference.

So many errors in this. Did anyone do their research?
  • I watched ‘What happens when QEII dies?’ Exactly as Her majesty died, when I watched it, I had no clue the Queen had died, only by looking at the most recent comments did I notice. If King Charles dies in a few days, know it’ll be my luck.

Love the map graphic at 1:45 where even Rockall, a tiny granite islet, way off the western coast of Scotland and inhabited only by sea birds, is included. Nice attention to detail. 🙂

throwback to when we'd watch operation london bridge and we were joking and thinking abt the queen being immortal/outliving (at the time) prince charles... this brings a weird nostalgia feeling to me
  • @pplesandoranges
4:02 queen regnant - a queen regent is someone who de facto reigns on behalf of a sitting monarch who is unable to do so, but the UK now has counsellors of state for that purpose.
  • @nardo218
i don't expect the hullabaloo will baloo as large as QE2's did. If only because she ruled for 70 years
  • @userdim
Stop burying our king in advance, he will live, this is 100%
