Take a lesson from Bob Ross. "Do what works for you and how you like it, no one can beat that"

Just made a beautiful ribeye steak for dinner with my dad tonight following this exact method. Couldn’t recommended it more. The taste was incredible 👍

I like to cook my steaks and burgers in my cast iron skillet, I use Montreal Steak Seasoning 👍🏻

Of course, there’s always those people who can’t just be happy. They have to criticize the man who’s just trying to show everyone how to make a simple steak. I been cooking for almost 40 years and to be honest, YES there are a million ways of cooking a steak but in my opinion he did an amazing job. I’m sure it’s very tasty.

I add fresh rosemary too with my butter, it really brings out the beef flavor!

" You dont wanna be bitin into a piece of garlic while you're eating your steak" I do.

Can't go wrong with a basic cooking method unless you you don't know how to cook in the first place. Hats off to ya skipper 😉

I actually learned this method from my mother-in-law 40 years ago. The absolute best!

Beautiful steak, that's just how I do mine. I always add a little Rosemary. I also cook them in a well-seasoned cast-iron Pan.

Steak one my best meal on sunday

Don't use extra virgin olive oil, it has a LOW temperature smoke point. You want to use classic olive oil as it has a HIGH temperature smoke point. Also I would recommend using a cast iron skillet for steaks if you want the best end result.

I do my steaks pretty much this same way in my cast iron skillet, but I use a garlic herb butter instead of a whole clove. Always tasty and very tender. The char of a grilled steak is awesome, but I definitely won’t turn away a good fried steak.
