OPTRE dev here, i have a hunch the reason that some people had their uniforms wiped whilst others didnt is because there's a script that switches the uniform to slim/ non-slim depending on the vest you are wearing so that the uniform you are wearing doesn't clip, depending on how loadouts were set up the uniforms switching could have emptied the uniforms seeing as only people who would have had slim-legs kept their inventory

I think an interesting thing you could add would be to make those Optican kiosks that are around the city (1:06:20 is a great angle of one) have some medical and/or other supplies to make them nice side objectives. You already gave them a lot of medical and other help, I know, but it would be a nice dynamic addition for the squads.

UNSC lost early on for several reasons, most of which can, yes, be summed up with "not used to fighting aliens". They weren't used to an enemy that massed disposable troops, like Grunts. Second, they had no real defence against the armour of the Covies. Third, shields. Enough said, there. What's more plasma was several times stronger than any bullet the humans could muster. They had no real idea how to deal with melee. Brutes simply didn't die when shot! And finally, Hunters. Just... just Hunters....

Being part of a Sangheili unit, I can't believe they didn't utilize the sniper role. I'm not sure what the server settings are, but two shots generally can take one down.

I recently moved on from team leader position In an infantry company (got DA selected to be a recruiter), and I gotta say while I was watching this I was Monday morning quarter backing the shit out of this op haha. They deffinantly started on the back foot and lost their momentum on the beach. That being said I love seeing people participating in these milsim ops. I wish I had the time to consistently get into this stuff.

They might have had a chance if they had a spartan replace the 4 man squad, and bump up the squad numbers to 8 each
