Doing some pull downs with my 18" wagtail pivot control. With the windows being so high Its easier to do pull downs than fanning. its important to watch the angle of the squeegee when doing pull downs. if your careful you can control the water on the squeegee blade allowing you to do pull downs without having to clean the squeegee blade or leaving any lines to buff out.

The reason for wagtail is so you don't have to change tools. Its a 20' pole. As far as the marks, look at how I tilt the squeegee one way when its off the glass so the water drains of the blade and then I tilt it the other way when pulling down on the 2nd and 3rd down pulls so the water rides up towards the wet glass. the 1st pull doesn't matter as there is water on one side and a frame on the other. the 2nd and 3rd pulls are important that they are angle. It also helps when you tap off excess water when you can.
