Rain is needed to relieve the drought, but too much rain can lead to flash flooding. Meteorologist Mark Elliot explains the science behind this phenomenon.

  • We can turn around our sewer outflows, clean the water to acceptable levels, and pump the water back into the ground, or use it directly as irrigation, therefore stopping the collapse and ruination of our aquifers.
