A Review of Metroid Prime

Can you imagine being a video game so bold that it tried drastically changing the formula for an already existing franchise, while also being crazy innovative for the game industry in general? Metroid Prime can! And it did so with flying colors; but how far do I personally think it succeeded?

On a much less interesting note, whatever caused Tealazeal to not upload anything for nearly a year? And where's that review of the other game he promised? Will these mysterious questions be answered in this very video? ...Yeah, probably.

    Kept you waiting, huh? Yep, I finally finished a video after spending six months on it; and about three of those months actually making progress! As with before, I want to hear some criticism on stuff. Rustiness and not finishing videos for a long while definitely resulted in some weird quirks while writing the review and voicing it out, but I'd like to know how others think as well. Oh, and while I can't guarantee the next video is coming out lickity-split, progress has been made on it; working on the script. Hooray for doing things!

    I can definitely see the problems you have with Metroid Prime, and I can honestly agree with you with most of them. The bosses in this game are lackluster especially Thardus and the backtracking can be a bit much, but this is still one of my favorite games of all time. Maybe it is because I was first introduced to this game when I was little, but a lot of the game’s flaws don’t really bother me. I have played this game so much that I know how to bypass most of the game’s issues. At this point I can easily 100% this game in under 6 hours ignoring the logbook which I do not enjoy doing. I think that this game gets praised too highly by critiques because this is not a perfect 10/10 game. Sure, the game is good but, in my opinion, a 6-7 would be a more accurate score without my nostalgia goggles on.
