When I see my African family laughed at a sister who took the time to update herself from the European lies and tries to impart that knowledge to our people and was being ridicule. It breaks my heart to see how they tried to make light of everything she said and belittle her. She did a great job of holding her own because they’re not the first or last people she will meet like this. We Africans are so comfortable with believing stories told to us that we won’t even take the time to find our own versions of what happened.

Crazy how Sadhguru, an Indian guru, speak of the same language as she. I always knew something wasn’t right when everything in me just couldn’t connect with church even as a kid. I had a sense of understanding that something was within me but I just had no clue what it connected to until I got older(about 25 years old) when all odds was against me, I then started looking within, meditating and learning how to connect with literally every life within me and before you know it my whole world changed. It’s like I am literally a part of every life on this planet/ universe and it’s beautiful.
