How To Hide Instagram Following and Followers List

There is really only one way to hide that on Instagram.
First, you'll have to make sure you have a personal account. You cannot do this with a creator or professional account.
Then, you'll need to make your personal account private. With private accounts, you'll hide your Instagram following and followers list.

That’s not hiding who your following-followers. Your approved accounts have access to who your following-followers.

Why there is a big difference between the number of followers I see on the profile page of a friend and the actual list of these followers (I mean when u click on the followers and followers list opens)? For example the front page says that the person has 450 followers but when u click on them u see just 150. Is it a bug or there is a way to hide them? The profile is private and u need to send request in order to see the profile page and then click the list.
