It was very telling that after the race Ricciardo was seated in the Red Bull helicopter beside Max and Max was filmed giving a double thumbs up.. The biggest problem for Perez is that unless things change rapidly, Red Bull are going to lose the Constructor's Championship and there are plenty of rumors of Ricciardo out-performing Perez in simulations and the testing they can do.

Max will go to Mercedes as they are getting back to the top, Adrian Newey is leaving red bull so Max will not want to stay. This leaves Red Bull with Checo and Ricciardo. Lawson will drive with Tsunoda

RB would be dumb to replace one struggling driver (Perez) with another struggling driver (Ricciardo). Ricciardo was good in the past but whatever he had, he lost it and he should be booted out of F1 to make way for young talent.
