I found this refreshingly simple and likely to be effective for others. Thank you for sharing!

I love your list style! I usually do it by day so I spend a lot of time rewriting unfinished tasks on other days. This system is simple and looks like it will help me better. Thank you!
  • Oh my goodness! This is the best method I have seen! So simple and easy to maintain. Thank you for sharing and I’ll be using this method from now on!
  • This is somewhat like "bullet journaling" but this is much easier because a lot of people use symbols with their bullet journaling and that is just way more work I think.  Thanks for sharing Becky!  PS...I agree about crossing off items you've done with the thick sharpie....there is something great about crossing off items to make you feel like you've got something accomplished!!!

Made perfect sense the simplicity is awesome. Thanks. I was kinda afraid to watch because let's face it now don't everyone yell at me some list makers can get very serious and complicated. Great job btw 😊. This was a walk in the park

I've always left all the pages in my book. Some weird thing in my brain that makes me think I'll ever look at them again or something. Not that I've ever done that - not even once. I like the idea of just ripping it out and moving forward. Less visual clutter and a "fresh start" on a new task list.
  • I have tried so many planners and have wondered what was wrong with me as none of them worked. I felt like I was going around in circles. Your list works and thanks so much for sharing.

That pentel pen in my favorite pen ever! I make list's ever single day for work and home and I have to have that pen lol! When I do my grocery shopping I usually go to three different stores, so when I write my list I use three different color highlighter to highlight what I need at each store so everything Walmart will be highlighted in blue, everything from the actual grocery store would be in pink and so on! I basically do the same thing with rewriting my list I call it my rough draft and my final draft lol some people make fun of me but I love it and it gives me peace of mind!
  • I use the exact same pen. Fine point is a must for me, too. I also use the sharpie and some type of highlighter as well. I am addicted to marking things off my "To Do" list, sense of accomplishment. I need to try your technique.

Those tiny boxes can be put to good use; of those highlighted in yellow are the most important one's on the list. But which one is more important (has to be done first?). That's where the tiny boxes come into play. You put a 1 in the tiny box that has to be done first, and a 2 on the 2nd most important task and so on...but you do this only on the highlighted tasks.
  • This is an amazing idea I'll do it because I do big to do list but I didn't finish it
  • @theboldlife
Great tips Becky! I love how visual your sharpie and highlighting is.
  • Thanks for sharing Becky. I tend to keep sort lists but I like the idea of being able to see the big picture and then moving the left over tasks into a new list. Very inspiring :)

This is exactly the method that works for me! I've tried so many planner types but I always come back to this simple checklist. The only thing I do differently is I list day-specific appointments at the very top of the page.

Omg ! This was sooo helpful ! I’ve been looking and trying all types of ways to remember and take track ... but I like this the most ! Thank you so much ! 🙌🏻
  • @labmouse13
Thank you for sharing. :) I do the same thing for work on the right-hand side of the page and use the left-hand side of the page to use for meeting notes.
  • @lisafarmen9367
Simple concept but I love it! The highlighter and check boxes are going to be so helpful..never thought of thar. Thank you!
