Just installed Evernote. Tried it, tried to open a second notebook and BAM. Only one allowed. Uninstalled it 5 minutes later.

I was not expecting #1 to be Zoho lol. What a coincidence considering that was what I migrated to from Evernote this month!

Why won't anyone steal onenote's formatting? Being able to click anywhere to make a new textbox is so useful and once you're used to it, it's hard to use anything else. Great video, looking forward to seeing the next one after I exit my cryopod

Knew you had it in you, keep up the good work!

You only have to pay for Obsidians Sync feature if you use it. I store my Obsidian Stuff in a separate folder, and just Sync the folder - BOOM - completely free :D

I exported all my Evernote notebooks then imported them into Joplin with no issues.

The sale of Evernote highlighted a basic problem with all these services. It is at the end a private company and can be sold, change its terms of service, go broke.... this means, you are in the hands of the company that you trust to keep your notes safe. I am a long-time user of evernote, now I use OneNote, we all use MS365 anyway so that is a free service by MS. Now they decided to change the tos, again you agree or stop using the service. I had enough of paying monthly "subscription" fees. I am seriously thinking about to build my own cloud or going back to the old school way. Keeping stuff on my pc backing it up and stop using clouds all together.

Worth noting NotebookLM is only available in the US rn
  • If you could make a video on Which apps or processes you used to migrate your Notes and Notebook from Evernote to zoho Notes?

Felt a bit similarly but then realized the cost of Evernote works out less than one coffee per week, so if you use it a lot (like I do) then well worth the cost
