Under the bed rolling bins are great but I prefer the ones with a cover as it gets really dusty there( I don’t access mine daily ) Silicon sponge holder that wraps around your faucet off Amazon is the best . The metal ones that go in your sink rust easily and rust your sink too
  • I was actually going to buy something on Amazon for spice storage, but I couldn’t decide which drawer I could give up. Then my husband accidentally bought a file cabinet for $10 that looked like a baby file cabinet - all nicely painted white - very cute! So I went on Amazon and bought some little expandable rods (like the spring loaded curtain rods). I put those in the little drawers and put the spice jars, angled, leaning against the rods. When you open the drawers it looks just like yours! I love it! It was cheap to do and I still have two empty drawers at the bottom.

And people saying decluttering is ONLY about getting rid of stuff - it's not just about how much stuff, it's about how the stuff is arranged and organized.

So happy to see someone else who names their sourdough starter. It’s like having a pet. We named ours “George”

I got rid of all my random dishes and bought all white. They look great and u don't have to worry about "matching". U can buy any piece from any brand and it works. I have that bamboo silverware and the knife organizer. I bought the ziplock bag holders that were all separate so I could configure it to fit my drawer. Highly recommend all of those. Keeping ur countertops/flat surfaces clean makes an incredible difference in how ur space looks. Great suggestions man! 😁😁🤩🤩

The cable concealer box is also good for babyproofing your house. I just installed three of them since our 5-month-old is starting to roll around a lot more.
  • Many good ideas! Suggestion - put the spices in alpha order, find them quicker and controls OCD issues.

Having a home for everything and teaching that very early to the baby will become a life skill ! I wish I had taught this to my kids ! 😊

The bamboo bag organizer is probably our favorite organizing item ever.
  • I’ve been storing 50% of our clothes under our bed using diaper boxes lol. Years ago before we had kids the clothes were stored in Costco boxes. The only drawback for us is that one of our cats likes to sleep on top of the clothes in the boxes making them insanely hairy. Other than that, it works great. We have one small closet and no dresser so this is what works for us. Our bed is also on those black bed risers you can find anywhere for added height. I used a box cutter to make the boxes just under the height of the bed so they fit.

Tip for your silverware organizer, the only thing I didn't like about mine was how it would slide around inside the drawer since my drawers aren't soft close. A little blue tacky putty under each corner solved the problem and made it feel like it was built in to the drawer :)
  • I also dislike visual clutter in the bathroom, but what I did instead of corralling everything on a shelf (although I do like that yours is also a towel holder) I bought a large IKEA medicine cabinet to replace the mirror over my sink. And to make it more streamlined, I recessed it into the wall. Absolutely LOVE this hidden, organized space.
  • Recently moved into an 800 sq ft space. Sadly, I don't have nearly the drawer nor cabinet space that you do. I appreciate the hacks and ideas.
  • I love anything that helps hide clutter , I need to take care of my pots and pans cabinet . Magazine holders are great for storing aluminum foil and boxes of storage bags

Thanks for the ideas. I have lots of mismatched dishes and cups and I cannot part with them. All of my elder family has passed, so I have some dishes from all of them... a few of my mom's coffee cups, especially the one she liked to drink out of, the two cups my grandparents drank out of... things from my aunt and uncle... a few plates from our family restaurant we had for 30+ years... my mom's wedding dishes from when she was younger... my blue (favorite color) coffee mugs from when I was in high school that mom and I found at a yard sale together... and now my husband has many glasses he has collected over the years. Oy vey. Some glasses and things are packed away, and while I would like to have it all the same, I also love the visual reminders I have of my loved ones each time I open my cabinets and use these cherished items.
  • @clarinetninja
Great stuff. You seem to be able to designate drawers like they are going out of style. I am jealous of your drawer army. I only have four in my kitchn. I suppose that makes them more in need of staying organized....but they have to be multiuse. The life of a person that can dedicate a drawer for spices is unthinkable for me! lol
  • I once wanted to make a business out of my weakness for sorting and tidying, but marie kondo was quicker 😂 love that content, thanks!
  • Leadership and Management are important in life and skills and tools have a profound affect on everyday choices and living well.
  • I have to cosign that spice rack tray! Having it in your draw vs in a cabinet or shelf is a game changer to ACTUALLY use them all!
