I love The Getaway so much, I've heard almost all Red Hot Chili Peppers albums at the same times, and this one made it to the top 4 (5 if we include I'm beside you). 1. Californication 2. By The Way 3. Stadium Arcadium 4. (I'm Beside You) 5. The Getaway Such a consistent quality album, almost all songs are incredible. Kaly and Outer Space should totally had been included, two more songs wouldn't do any damage! And those two were the best 2022 Rhcp songs i'm not gonna lie. I liked UL and ROTDC, but this album just felt so free, so fun, so fresh... the band really came back to his peak with this one... So many songs that, like it or not, were the last time that the Peppers were mainstream (Go robot, Dark Necessities). Almost 5 years since I heard this album for the first time, so many emotions, so many good moments... I had fun and danced with the rhytim, I cried and had nostalgia, all this was made by their beautiful melodies. I'll fight for this album to the end of times. Thank you Josh, you were a key element to the Peppers, and thank you Red Hot Chili Peppers for all this amazing music.

Personally, I liked them going in a different direction by working with Danger Mouse. It seems Rick Rubin had them on autopilot - which was evident on their recent projects.

I love this album! It's different than the others. It's an amazing experiment with different styles and still with the same core. A proof they can adopt different approaches and make wonderful music. It's like they have albums for different moods. It's great that you can choose what album to listen according to your mood and still be Red hot chili peppers ♥️

Great album. Brilliantly arranged. Only track I'm not feeling is the 10th track, but I'm not even skipping that when I give the album a play.
