"Hi! Evelyn (Coffee Date) here.
I'm so excited to finally share Hyrule Café. It's my biggest project yet and by far the one closest to my heart. The way I see it, this album has been over 10 years in the making. I started playing The Legend of Zelda when I was 12 years old (and became obsessed), but when I first discovered remixes of Zelda music on YouTube, it blew my mind that remixing game music was even a possibility. I didn't have access to music lessons, so I started self-teaching violin and piano so that I could play these songs that I loved so much. With a lot of practice, patience, hard work, and that spark of inspiration, it finally culminated in Hyrule Café — which to me serves as proof that dreams can come true.
I'm incredibly honored to have worked with my friends and colleagues to create six of these tracks, as well as the artwork. Dj Cutman also dedicated time to re-mastering six of my older tracks for Hyrule Café, and I couldn't be happier with how they came out. Working on this project with a team has shown me how beautiful it is to share in the experience of creating with others and working together to make a vision come to life. It's the effort of everyone together that makes this album what it is, and for that I am beyond grateful.

I’d love to think this was the first place Link and Zelda went to after the end of the game. Girl needs a big cup of coffee after spending millennia as the Light Dragon.

I’ve used this song to help calm down the kids in the daycare I work at when they’re either getting too wild or they are getting sleepy. I’ve even heard one of them start to hum along with some of the songs in this mix, so thank you~

Tarrey Town is one of my favorite BOTW tracks and the "Nights in Tarrey Town" remix is absolutely stunning. The strings and vocals together (that cello!!), WOW I have goosebumps

Gerudo Valley, good grief! 🔥 I was bopping through the Gerudo Fortress to this one, serenading the Gerudo guards as I went. They didn't throw me in prison, they just let me sail on into the desert. Bravo! 👏
