I think I know London pretty well but you always manage to feature places I don’t know. Your films are sooo watchable because of your presentations and the filming/sound professionalism.

I love this. ❤ I’m not a major tourist exhibit-type traveler. Exploring and experiencing the local vibe is so much more rewarding! 🎉

Not only am I born and bred in London but work in Kings Cross and I’ve never heard of Camley St Park! Great find, Jess 👍🏼
  • @Vanloves2travel
Another excellent video. You make London a less daunting place to visit for those of us who have never been.
  • @bcrocksaz
Great video. I visit London once or twice a year and there's always something new to discover. Keep up the good work.
  • Oh wow - that 1969 London Tube map! I would love to see that. My first visit to London was in June 1971 and when I returned this year for the first time since that trip, it took me a little while to adjust to the Tube because it seemed A LOT more complicated than it used to be. Of course that didn't surprise me because a lot can happen over the course of 50 years, but I wondered what it looked like back in 1971 and you just happened to find the map!

First time seeing your channel. This was super well done. Very impressive. Thank you for sharing.

Some great new tips from you here! The 1969 tube map would have been the one I was using while studying in London! So now I feel very vintage!
  • Brick Lane in general for some of the best food in London- it is a city that runs on curry (at least late at night). Also London has loads of amazing museums, but few people know about the Sir John Soane's Museum. It is just an amazing collection of "stuff" of one of the great collectors of Georgian England.

Wow! Fantastic and amazing! London has more to offer than meets the eye. Very useful information. Thank you.

i've been going to London on and off since my teens back in the 80s, so I guess i'm a fairly seasoned visitor. But I just wanted to say that I've learned a lot of really cool stuff from your excellent channel. Thank you Jess.
  • @cadwg77

Hidden Gem ! Green Lanes in Harringay, just up the road from the Square Mile. Go past the Green Lanes rail station and your into little Turkey. Food in the restaurants is amazing and the fresh cake shops irresistible. And it's less than HALF PRICE of anything your find up in the city.

  • @nickoakley8465
Great video. I'm not in London, but when I meet any visitor I always try and get them to visit the Regent's Canal - it's a great 9 mile walk from Paddington to Limehouse basin, passsing loads of interesting places. A particular favourite is the narrowboat pub. The canal towpath is on the north side of the Canal so gets the full blast of the sunshine all day and has a lovely warm microclimate

I was just in London, and The Royal Opera House was one of the places I went to. I also went to The Anchor, where they had takeaway cocktails. Not something I would have expected.
