📼Video Summary:
Electric motors can seem very mysterious! How do they use electricity to start rotating? Let's break it down step by step to understand how it works. Topics covered in this video: circuits, current, magnets, electromagnets, armature, commutator, brushes, stator, and rotor. This video only covers DC motors. Maybe I will cover AC motors in a future video🤨

the dislikes are probably from the teachers who couldn't explain the lesson as perfect as he did
  • @fatimasohail1185
This was so well explained that I don't have words to describe it. My teachers couldn't have explained it as well as this. The animation, the content, the voice. Everything was so perfect!!! ❤️❤️
  • @BenYokumFarzet
I dont comment too often, especially under educational videos, but sir, I just wanted to say that the way you explain is perfect, I'm so happy that there are high quality teachers like you, congratulations!

And that's why Audio-Visual method of teaching is the future of learning.
  • A 14 year old learning electromagnetism and this came as a blessing .. I don't have words to thank you enough .. Wishes and happiness from apar

Just started a job at a motor repair company and have been having a hard time understanding how dc motors work and the minute u added commutators it clicked so much more. I look forward to learning and watching many more of your videos

I can only imagine the amount of 3D modelling, animation, planning and time required to make a video like this. Not to mention the rendering power. So clear. Thanks alot!
  • @rave400v6
I remember studying about this in my electrical class and was having a hard time visualize the parts in action. It was mostly of text but I couldn't understand the visual function completely. Seeing this, the many missing pieces in my studies started to make so much sense now. Thank you.
  • @lyndy101
Bro you are amazing. It's incredible how important the visuals are in understanding, something a lecture alone cannot teach.
  • @gordonokumu1337
Oh man...If you were my physics teacher when I was in high school, I would have become a great physicist today. Clear explanation and really easy to follow and understand! Thank you Jared! that was incredible!
  • @kiddfpv
I never understood how motors actually worked and this is actually super easy to understand, thanks man!

If you’ve never used an air filter these are great. youtube.com/post/Ugkx_dppjvjF8BYEmPSDTcgCUdRsgWYLX… I ended up with three after starting out with one. The noise level depends on the 1-3 settings with how hard you want the machine to work. You can also upgrade the filters and get one better for pet hair and smells which is a must have in my home. I noticed the air seemed lighter and easier to breathe when running the machine for the first time. Works great every time. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most enlightening videos, ive every seen. One of the best lessons ive ever seen in my life! How succinct and elegant an explanation!!
  • Imagining the “eureka moment” when these concepts were first discovered.
  • We studied this in college for 3 years and forget everything. We learned this in 10 minutes and it remains in mind forever. WOW
  • This encapsulates the " it's better to SEE it one time than HEAR/READ it thousand times" saying perfectly

04 years og engineering and 10+ years of experience, I haven't came through any such brilliant understanding of motor working. Thank you very much
