Two Birds Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Two birds on a wire
One tries to fly away
And the other watches him close from that wire
He says he wants to as well
But he is a liar

[Chorus]
I'll believe it all
There's nothing I won't understand
I'll believe it all
I won't let go of your hand

[Verse 2]
Two birds on a wire
One says "C'mon" and the other says "I'm tired"
The sky is overcast and I'm sorry
One more or one less
Nobody's worried

[Chorus]
I'll believe it all
There's nothing I won't understand
I'll believe it all
I won't let go of your hand

[Verse 3]
Two birds of a feather
Say that they're always gonna stay together
But one's never going to let go of that wire
He says that he will
But he's just a liar
Two birds on a wire
One tries to fly away and the other
Watches him close from that wire
He says he wants to as well, but he is a liar

[Outro]
Two birds on a wire
One tries to fly away and the other

This song feels like two people who has been through trauma, one of them is healing and trying to help the other, but the other person is still holding onto the trauma.

I'm proud of you for waking up. I'm proud of you for brushing your hair. I'm proud of you for breathing. I'm proud of you for making your bed. I'm proud of you for eating. I'm proud of you for TRYING to eat. I'm proud of you for drinking water, I'm proud of you for being here. I'm proud of you for being you. I'm proud of you for smiling. I'm proud of you for continuing on even when things are difficult for you. I'm proud of you for standing up. I'm proud of you for blinking. I'm proud of you for getting out of bed after spending the whole day in bed. I'm proud of you for brushing your teeth. I'm proud of you for standing up. I'm proud of you for sitting down. I'm proud of you for defending yourself. I'm proud of you for believing in yourself. I'm proud of you for simply trying. I'm proud of you for being alive. IM PROUD OF YOU. ❤ From the random stranger on the internet

This song reminds me of losing my only best friend. She was my strength, my warrior. She unfortunately passed 2 days ago, from suicide. Rest in peace, Val. <3

"Two birds on a wire one tries to fly away" hits hard 😕
  • @KloeyMartell
The worst feeling is realizing that you were the bird who was stuck on the wire and knowing it's too late to get the other person back
  • This reminds me of my BFF she was diagnosed with cancer and she wanted me to keep going on in life her last words where" mum im tired" 🕊R.I.P Belle🕊
  • "The Loneliest people are the Kindest. The saddest people smile The brightest. The most damaged People are the wisest. All because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do." This quote is like this song.

This song reminds me of my best friend who died in 2016. I absolutely loved her and she was like my sister from another mother, if you will. We helped each other during so many hard times. Once I was at home and she called me panicking, because the breaks on her dads car had been cut and they completely lost control of the car. The last words I heard from her was "I'll see you soon" before she and her dad died in the crash. I've never cried so hard in my life, and 5 years later I don't think I'll ever be able to forget that moment. I miss you a lot leila.

she's not just singing she's telling her story of sadness through what she had gone through 😢. I feel you as I have also lost my parents at the age of 14 and I'm now 18, I suffered from depression, and did not have many friends just one bestie, and the award goes to "Ananya" ❤
  • This song hits hard reminds me of those 2 birds on a wire where one tries to fly but exploded into oblivion and the other screams :(

This reminds me of my twin sister and I, we used to be so close growing up, we shared pretty much everything from our clothes, room, toys, etc. We promised that when we got a little older that we would get an apartment and never leave each others time but once we hit highschool it seems she wants a life without me and I don't really blame her but it just kinda hurts because she wants to let go and I don't want her to leave me just yet. Im scared to be alone.
