this song... just wow... not only this one but any other song from crystal castles just explains fobias, depressions and sh... they just trigger a feeling in me that reminds me of all the bad shit ive been through and it makes me cry but at the same time they make me laugh and smile, it reminds me of times where im ripping appart my skin or locked up on the floor of my room crying.. they make me feel safe and crazy but the good type yknow??? and this feeling... i know im not the only one who feels it.. i CANT be the only one who feels it.. of course everyone has a different interpretation of art and mine is usualy bassed on my sadness or my anxiety and my feelings in general... i hope you can feel the different emotions in their music... not just the sad deppressing ones but the happy ones as well... stay safe... happy new year.. thatnks for reading all te wayy here=)

Knowing what Alice had endured during her time in the band makes the lyrics much more significant. It’s hard to miss the projected pain in the both the actual lyrics and even the tone of the music itself. All of their music is like this; it’s like their music captured the energy of abuse / distress. It’s simultaneous addicting and anguishing listening to their music as a result honestly. Great rework.
