Sonic X - Knuckles' apology to the team

Being that Knuckles is a naive and sweet person who believes everyone should live in peace, he offers to give a chaos emerald to Eggman who claims he wants to change his life. It is soon revealed that the doctor was scheming and being opportunistic towards Knuckles' forgiving spirit. The team devise a plan to get Cosmo back when she is taken hostage. He promptly offers a sincere apology when the dust settles. Cosmo remarks that he has a trusting heart and they share the same dream that everyone in the universe will unite one day. It's truly such a sweet moment.
This is one of my favorite moments in the show. I love how forgiving everyone is. Knuckles truly only wanted to give Eggman the benefit of the doubt even though he doesn't deserve it. That being said, it's important to consider ones intentions. Knuckles believes in redemption.
Remember not to take characters not learning their lessons too seriously. This is a kid's show and sometimes they can risk using over plots as kids are often times too caught up to really understand what's going on. Some notice and some really just like the idea of watching TV ♡
