This is still one of the best spider-man scenes period. Peter cares more for saving the people in his neighborhood than chasing the bad guy.

this is probably my favorite scenes throuout ALL iterations (live action), the way he helps boost the kids confidence by showing him his face, then giving him the mask, the whole scene shows perfectly how personable spiderman can be..its also the 1st time garfields spiderman realizes the good he can do n scraps his "revenge" quest to find bens killer and focus on the good he can do, it's also the 1st time he gets a sense of how important he could be in the eyes of children n the confidence spiderman can instill in them.. u can't see Andrew's face, but u can tell by his mannerism that he was shedding tears under his mask when he hands the kid over to the father. it reminds him of his n bens relationship and it dawns on him that spiderman can be the diffrence between a kid losing his father or uncle and vice versa, there's alot underneath the surface of that whole bridge rescue scene, it the moment he actually becomes spiderman.

Tobey version Spiderman: Listen. I need you to climb down. MJ: I can't. Spiderman: Yes you can! Andrew version Spiderman: Jack. Climb, now! Jack: I can't. Spiderman: Yes you can!

Jack's father showed his thanks a little later on in the movie by helping him swing in cranes when he literally took a bullet to the leg.

This scene was amazing, Andrew's Spider man is the best, but Tobey's Peter Parker is better, Tobey is the best Peter Parker and Andrew is the best Spider Man.
  • I always loved how Peter took his mask off without thinking about it, all to make Jack feel safer ☺

This movie was really good but I'm going to say that the second one was actually better then the first one because you know what they say who likes the sequel better than the original and I know that the Amazing Spider-Man 2 didn't receive the best feedback when it was released in movie theaters but despite all the negative things people say about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 I don't think it's that bad for being the first and only sequel that we have for The Amazing Spider-Man trilogy I don't think it's that bad and it's making me wish we had a 3rd movie

Say what you want about the amazing spider-man movies. But this is one of the greatest spider-man scenes in cinema.

2012: kid screams 2021: Grandma screams Andrew: why tf does noone trust my mask?
  • This scene has almost been entirely copied in no way home. Irrfan's character always knew that Peter was Spider-Man showed how much dangerous the world was for spiderman
  • @watvid1
"who are you?" a little fucking thank you wouldn't be so bad

one thing you can really appricate from andrews portrayal of Spiderman is that he always is confident and never shows fear. Toms spiderman is good in his own way he just has awkward moments and is a little too normal in situations where its normal for humans to be scared

Spider man just revealed his secret identity to a child but the child didn’t know he is peter parker
