I have walked out of numerous stores that only offered self checkout, leaving my merchandise behind. 2 stores in our area have stopped doing self checkout only. I thanked them and told them I’ll continue to shop there as long as I have a person ringing up my purchases. They fully acknowledge my frustration.

I work in cybersecurity. Went to school for 6 years, and a fairly recent MS grad (2022). Only been working in the field 7 years. Since being born again in 2020, God has been pulling me away from it. He's nudged me into self-reliance, and by nudge, I mean strongly pushed. People from my past don't even recognize who I've become. I do not fear AI because I know who is the victor, but I'm built up solidly in my faith now, so if it becomes a requirement for my job, I am prepared to quit. I will take no part in its advancement.

Our parents warned us about television and I raised my kids in the middle of nowhere with no television reception. These smart TVs can actually see us, like our parents warned analog television might one day be able to do. Unplugged and off grid sounds so peaceful.
