How I Learned To Enjoy Games Again

In the last 6 months I've rediscovered how to enjoy games again. A lot of it stemmed from playing the same multiplayer style FPS games over and over again. By switching it up and trying out some great singleplayer games, indie games, and genres of games I don't usually play I've rediscovered a love for the hobby. It's important to keep life balanced with tackling your priorities first, working out, etc, all the obvious stuff, but once you've done that, sometimes all you need is a little variety in the types of games you play to enjoy them once again. Thanks for watching. #gaming #gamingvideos

I switched from COD Warzone to Elden Ring to chill. Now I'm waiting for my new controller to arrive.

I don't play multiplayer games anymore, ive noticed it made me more annoyed than happy. Most of the time I was just raging whereas with singleplayer games I just chill and get immersed in the world and story
  • Playing single player games on my Steam Deck and Switch saved my love for gaming.

I find more people appear interested in Co-Op than PvP lately

Just want to say thank you for making these "little chat" videos. They always make me appreciate gaming and have a nicer outlook on life in general. It's just a nice and chill space to go to for me. So yeah, thank you once again!

Easy - stop playing multiplayer games, they are cancer. Play single player story based games, its like watching a movie.

That scenario you described at the start is me with x-defiant 😂 once I start raging I switch to a single player game

This is literally the problem of the competitive online games industry

Single player games is the reason why I fell in love with gaming to begin with when I was 4. When I focused on them again back in December, I enjoyed gaming once again

Great topic to cover nowadays, BBK. FPS games aren't quite hitting rn. So, I decided to pick up Tekken 8 and try a genre that I've never really given a proper go. Don't know how I'm gonna fare with the game, but I'm genuinely really excited to be bad at a game and just have 0 expectations 😅 I always say, if a game isn't cutting it for you, step away from it or even from gaming and try something new. You will probably come back to things with a greater appreciation.
  • Always good to hear exercise mentioned in gaming videos. It’s the best thing you can do for yourself.

I'd like to say, just try it... seriously, instead of contemplating over the hundreds of games in your wishlist just pick one and start playing I have been playing elden ring recently upon someone's suggestion, I never thought I'd ever enjoy a game like this but I am having an absolute blast :)

Great video def resonates with me esp the last few years. I think variety is good advice and also not getting in your way to try a game for just a night etc.

This works for those who are mentally heathy (relatively) in the first place. Those who play games to have fun. But if you play games to escape issues in your life, this may not work, because you are addicted to those specific games for a reason. They must have validated you in some ways that real-life can't. So some video game problems need to be solved in real-life.

This exact situation literally JUST happened to me, ive been breaking up my Apex legends with mostly singleplayer for the last while and ive been much happier
