    what does PO have to do with it? This is a bug at the iron level, no firmware will fix it, you need to disassemble the camera and turn it yourself

    I Seriously Love this camera since it's launch but when I found out about the Focus issues as so many YouTubers are reporting. I don't think it's just with some units but I think it's more likely to be a hardware problem that cannot be fixed by sending updates. People like me who live in India, don't have the option to send it back to DJI or get a refund.

    Went round and round with DJI. They gave me all these settings to put it in and load them up to google drive. I did all that and that was not good enough for them. They wanted me to add more video and do a bunch of other stuff. I just returned it to amazon and got my money back. It is to bad because besides the focus issue everything else was great. I didn't really need another action cam and was hoping to sell off the other ones and just use the action 3. Anyway DJI gave me a 30$ credit or os giving me and I am going to buy the remote control tripod/selfie stick for the action 2.

    When there is issue never buy outside DJI shop ; probably the osmo action 3 which are distributed outside of dji are still bundles with focus issues. the best is to order directly from dji which has probably rectified its internal stocks and solved the focus problems

    my 3 month dji action 3 LQQKS GREAT FROM DE GET GO. WITH THE NEW FIRMWARE LQQKS DA SAME AS DA 1ST DAY I RECEIVED IT.

    I'm sorry, but it seems strange to me, other youtubers don't have this problem. However I know that the batches produced in October and November do not have this problem. You should see the month of production in the box or instructions, or ask the dealer to give you the batches for October or November.

Well I guess now DJI is at least fixing/exchanging these if you press them about it. That is not good enough, this is clearly a widespread issue with units made in the first few months. Having to return the thing might be difficult or impossible for some people around the world. Not to mention people who are stuck with defective products but think that this is just the picture "quality" their camera is supposed to have. Anything else than a recall fucks over the customers.   • Just returned the combo edition..truly disappointed maybe I will buy another one six months time..
  • It is a fixed focus camera dependent on precisely correct positioning of lens / sensor. Only some units impacted. Others were perfect and improved by Firmware update. Software can improve, but will never fix, a hardware issue. Many YouTube clips confirm issue. Manufacture / Quality Control failure. DJI have offered to fix it for you. Accept.
