  • JB is 35 & Nolf is 28. No one was “stunned” with this win by Nolf. Father Time has caught JB. What an incredible career for JB

USA wrestling owes JB a debt gratitude. He has been the gold standard for USA wrestling for over a decade and was the gatekeeper. He forced wrestlers to acknowledge their weaknesses and face them, because if they didn’t JB would smother you. Unfortunately time comes for all of us and he’s no exception. Congratulations JB on a fantastic career. Can’t wait to see what waits for you in the future

Burroughs' body language appeared as if his heart's not in it anymore. You're a storied legend, my man. Father Time is undefeated
  • Thank you JB for not only gracing us with your excellence, but showing American wrestlers how to be great!!!!
  • @jwin814
Jb shaking Nickels hands shows so much class. Love PSU but respect to JB

Man, they could do so much to make wrestling more accessible to normies. More replays and more color commentary on what’s actually happening in the match. They didn’t even do a replay on the most important move of the match, that blast double.

What happened to JB is what happened to Dake all those times. Sitting at the end of the bracket and only fighting one match like the final boss of a video game is a lot easier than having to run the gaunlet. His age, along with running the gauntlet, got him. He can still beat anybody on any day, but as all men know who have already gone through it, it's the endurance/gas tank that is the first to go. He had a great career and represented America well.
  • It’s the name of the game. We get older, and there’s always another athlete younger who is faster and stronger. Jordan Easley, still one of the best ever.
  • @a1cwilleum
Nolf blasted a textbook double leg on the double leg master! Impressive.
  • @jeffsayler464
Let me watch it, I don't want to know who won in the caption.
  • @dougkornegay
Great job Nolf, but I am sad to see the end of an amazing era
  • @carlabend-ih4kz
Nolf, had Cael Sanderson and Bo Nickal in is corner, wow , that is a huge edge in coaching and teamwork

Burroughs wrestled like an old man refusing to put out too much energy. Never seemed motivated or hungry. Maybe needs to retire.
  • @user-jz3bg5du5w
It's all about being motivated like you once were. Once you lose that hunger, like Jason Nolf demonstrated, it's hard to get it back.
