They patched hunter dismiss pet way back in the day too. The work around was a macro to abandon your pet. So yes, after the arena you would have to tame another one. Just post up where the monkeys are and tame a new one once the arena match is over. Im sure it will still work but I havent tested it yet.

I mained Ele in Cata, until the later patches when they gave the dispel buff to flame shock, it was absolute dumpster.

Ele is easier to get into than balance. No 2 spammable CC hardcasts, no dilemmas of exiting form to provide healing/kick/stun, basically no snapshotting.

I would have signed up for skillcapped but there isn't nearly as much detailed courses as back in the day. Unless I'm blind or your website isn't very good, I don't see any matchup based walkthroughs. Just general information. That's what turned me away for subbing again.

Resto druid is the hardest to play in Cata 😂 damn i must been a good player then. I cant count how many arena games my resto druid and rogue had in cata classic arena that timed out after 40 min 😢

idk I took combat to 2800 last cata. its burst is the highest in the game out of any class. requires very little setup and is prob the easiest melee to get into 2k with. a blanket silence by a spriest or mage into a cheapshot smokebomb and killing spree will 100-zero any class that has no immunity. it can do 30k dps openers in pvp in a few seconds. even with warriors shield wall you can open and land a kill with 3 buttons.
