That coffee table is a minimalist's dream! Congrats on your new place ♥️
  • @atticushead410
It’s funny that she keeps saying “if you stay here” like we’re all invited to stay the night lol. Guess we’re all having a sleepover.
  • So they lost their umbrella because the wind blew it away somewhere, while they were trying to set up the balcony? Wish you guys captured that on camera
  • @WholeWheatPete
This is exactly how I would imagine MTV Cribs if it was ran by weebs lmaoo

Plant guy here: Wind normally doesn't matter. If you're unsure about it, just buy sturdier plants for the windy balcony. (You should also consider the amount of sunlight the plants get on the balconies and the amount of water they need... Herbs like basil need to be watered daily and need sunlight but not too much of it; plants like oleander don't need that much water and sunlight...) If you're unsure, just look up facts about the plants on the internet or ask the employees working there :) Edit: Of course you'll have to secure the plants (especially if they're a bit smaller) so that they don't get blown over ^^

I love how humble Aki is. She’s got a really sweet apartment but doesn’t brag, just gives us a fun tour and shares some helpful interior design tips~
  • @Ri_A18
Aki is talking to us like we’re gonna actually be staying with them…stop making me cry all we can do is dream 😔
  • @Zireael1410
"I'M NOT SAYING HE'S A DAD" lmao she had to clarify before the comments go crazy

for plants on the balcony, make sure you put weight at the bottom of the pot before filling it with sand and plants, rocks or fitness weights that you don't use will do, depending on size and such you could strap it down. my sister lives in a penthouse in france (we are europeans btw) and has 2 palm trees on the balcony and it's windy af....the pot and the trees are strapped down no problem at all..does not budge at all! plenty of people do it, if you feel insecure about it...i recommend looking on the internet what people did to have a safe and enjoyable balcony garden!
  • OK, Aki. Plant-rant: Of course you can have plants in windy areas! Make sure they're pottet in firmly, so they dont get ripped from their pots and get bottom heavy plants rather then tall tree-like plants). It looks like the walls all around are high enough to have plants in some cover from the wind as well. Maybe have a google what kind of outdoor plants like that sort of stuff. Apart from all that - trial and error is a big part about being a plant parent - Happy planting and dont give up <3

Omedetou on the gorgeous and cozy apartment! I’m currently refurnishing our home and our design style are so similar. Our styling choice is slowly changing too, more mature oh definitely. Less frills, more function and solid. And yes to frosted window film! We have a huge bay window facing the street and now we can enjoy opening it all the way after it’s frosted.

A couple of weebs in their 20’s with their hobby as their job, living in a very nice place, in Japan. They’re living the dream.
  • @CHEFPKR
Congrats on the new place! Looks freaking amazing, especially that balcony.

Don't you remember when we were all kids? Watching all the Youtubers my age grow over the years is almost bittersweet. These people! With their functional lives, and no prison time. Sheesh... So getting that out of my system, I am genuinely happy for y'all.
