Any official announcement in 2024 will literally kill sales of the inventory they hold which could be sold in the holiday season/Black Friday etc

I think the reason for them holding the investor meeting in March is because they wouldn't want to much questions about the Switch 2 at the investors meeting that takes place tomorrow. My guess is more at an announcement next month and then some video / show off in autumn or so. At best I think they can aknowledge that there is a "Switch 2" tomorrow in some tweet or so but nothing more than that.

Is very smart from Nintendo to share info to only their investors and not the ppl, cause they know building the hype and marketing is matter of timing and now that the money ppl (investors) know what is the plan, they dont need to reveal nothing or fully control the info they might show to the world, but in a way they have secure the money for the company, the "investors" was our only way to discover news about Nintendo and now Nintendo wont need to say nothing.
