As a fisherman I think the man that actually cought the specimen should be mentioned, it's probably a very memorable moment for him too.

Finding one extinct animal is enough to put your name in the history books.. Forest was able to find MULTIPLE previously thought to be extinct animals alive and well.. His goal was to show people and scientists alike that nature is far my resilient than we give it credit for and the process we use to label an animal extinct just because we haven’t seen it in a while or only saw it once is ridiculous. He truly accomplished his mission and went further beyond his expectations and I’m sure his Grandfather would be very proud of him.

Oh the fishermen didn't understand you a bit. They were just happy that you bought their catch.

Maybe the sharks wised up and decided to not let humans see them instead of they almost all got killed. A lot of animals have figured out that humans are bad so they stay away

I so want Forrest to team up with the guy from River Monsters one day, it would be so interesting & they’d have an awesome adventure, I just know it!

This was by far my most favorite series on Animal Planet! I really hope they make a third season..
