Google Pixel 8 Pro LONG TERM Review - Should you buy?

Published 2024-06-02
The Google Pixel 8 Pro in my opinion is the 'Smartest' smartphone ever. With so many AI features to use, I think that this phone would definitely be the right phone for so many people. Thank you for watching the video and Subscribe for more!

  • Not that long ago, they released every storages (128, 256 and 512 GB) for all colors on the Google store for the Pixel 8 pro. This is weird, because they only did that recently and not at launch. Now, you can have the phone with the color Porcelain or Bay at 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.

I'm not a Tensor fan but being objective the Pixel is good phone. It does all phone things very well. I dont believe it's aiming at being comparable to laptop computing power like other OEMs. So if you like the Pixel OS experience, solid camera performance and acceptable performance you're not going to have any issues with this phone imo. I mean it's fine...

You were so fair with this review this time. You have always told how much you love this phone but the other side of it that you mentioned are quite fair. Those are good points

You'll probably be around in 7 years, youngster. Waiting for good modem at my age is questionable.
  • I love my pixel 8 pro and I appreciate your take on the phone. Thanks for this video

I have never had heat problems on my Pixel 8 pro. Never hot once. Playing games scrolling opening multiple applications never once a heating problem
  • great review, i just recently got a google pixel 8 after using my pixel 5 for 4 years, made me get the 256GB version

I love this phone in concept but it bugs out so much that I tried Apple and found I am not aversed to it as I thought. Some of the bugs I experience is apps freezing, the cameras were spazzing out trying to figure what camera to use, the system freezing, etc.
  • The pixal 8 pro is definitely not smoother compared to oxygen OS on my OnePlus 12 and especially after the latest update, overheating issues and other issues with software, poor battery life, cell and wifi connectivity as well as mediocre performance on the pixel 8 pro is why I dumped mine and opted for the OnePlus 12 instead.

Hi. If you are getting over 7 hours of sot and it is a dont like, what are you doing for 1/3 of your day on the phone? The normal usage on a phone is way below that mark for us average humans using a phone,

You mentioned Animations for 3rd party launcher , that the only thing i hate About Samsung , after One ui 6 samsung screwed it up , i might go with Pixel phone for my next purchase
  • I don't like that Google gives all of the software features that make it awesome to other brands. I could buy a Pixel or buy a faster Samsung that has a better build quality with the same features. Even OnePlus is more tempting because it costs a lot less.

My favorite part of this video has to be the smoke detector beeping in the other room 🤣

I don't like the sugar coating. The damn phone overheats every day --> maybe they could improve this for the next one. Maybe they could add some sort of AI cooling. What??? Stop putting AI into every single sentence.
  • if you are not storing a whole bunch of videos and pictures on your phone, then do you really need 256 gigs? I mean, I can understand if the updates became super huge. I have a 256 gig Iphone 15 plus and I've gone through some updates and I have a couple of apps and also a couple of photos and videos and I'm not yet even close to to max cap.

I love my pixel.. i dont use it so it can get updates for 4 years😅
