Venezuela: Opposition Calls on Army to Abandon Maduro | Firstpost America

Venezuelan opposition leaders Edmundo Gonzalez and Maria Corina Machado are calling on the military to abandon President Nicolas Maduro, alleging election fraud. They claim to have won the recent election by a substantial margin, though Maduro’s government has not provided voting tallies. In response to the protests, the government has arrested around 2,000 opponents and caused at least 20 deaths. Human rights groups criticise the severe crackdown, including increased arbitrary arrests. With Gonzalez and Machado in hiding and international pressure mounting, Venezuela’s political crisis remains deeply unresolved. Watch our video to know more.

If the army withdraw from maduro that will be a great solution But as far they are high paid by maduro obviously they won't do. Remember maduro is partner of Hezbollah.. He received plenty of money from them

I am surprised they would have what’s app to begin with. I would imagine they would use whatever China, Russia, Cuba, North Korea etc… is using. They have their own version and don’t report the same as the west.

China has billions of dollars in investments in Venezuela. China would do nothing to jeopardize that
