Festivus: May your Festivus be sufficiently enjoyable

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice youtube.com/post/UgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lE… I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

That saw is awesome. I'll never look at my DeWalt table saw the same again.
-
I sold my 3hp SawStop and bought a Felder 700S 10’ sliding table saw. Looove it!!!!!!!!!!

Favorite holiday is Veterans Day. As a vet I feel I owe a debt of gratitude to those who came before and those who follow. I love the Troll of the week. It occurred to me to try and “win” that contest just so I can get trolled back. Your comebacks are always priceless and give me a big smile each time.

Independence day! Hey Cam, I just replaced my Grizzly 3hp table saw..... ... Hold it. Hold it.. Boom, the sawstop ICS 5hp, waiting on the mobile base for setup. I just watched this video, again to get my major Sawstop excitement going. I'm retired 61 but this was a dream saw for me. Cam, thanks for all you're videos. You are by far the best communicating "content creater on YouTube!"

Christmas Eve. The footprint of that saw an slider looks like it's bigger than my entire shop!
-
Just put together my new PCS 3HP. I was soooo impressed with their organized setup and was easy to get everything spot on!

Thanks Cam! I've been eyeing the ICS for awhile and wasn't sure if I should splurge for it. Your comment on how often I use my table saw (daily) sealed the deal. I also appreciate you covering the dust collection hook up (and yes, there isn't a lot of info out there), fence config and adjustment.

My SawStop's instructions were the best I've ever seen. My Laguna band saw was the WORST I've ever seen of any product I've ever owned. Go SawStop!

WOW at no cost!!! Lucky man! but, you do awesome work. Well deserved

15 years ago, before Sawstop, I was in the market for a replacement of my old Craftsman contractor's table saw. I had come into a nice chunk of money and was looking to do this time and be happy for the rest of my life. I was visiting Green Bay, Wi and found Woodworking Depot. At the time, they had one of everything from every manufacturer on display. The clerk steered right to a Delta Unisaw with the 5 HP motor. He was kind enough to give me some information on several others but he had me at "hello" with the Delta. If Sawstop would have been available, I probably would have bought it just for the safety factor but, doing some research on what was available then, it was the Delta....and then everything else. I bought the one with the 52 inch to the right of blade table. I still have it, use it religiously and that 5 HP motor has never once bogged down on anything I cut. Thanks to that guy at Woodworker's Depot, he saved me from buying the 3 HP motor and spending the extra bucks on the 5HP......I'm figuring that this will be the last table saw I'll ever have to buy!

Even videos like this you inspire me. Your videos are the reason I’ve taken up woodworking as a hobby/small craft style business. Keep up the great work.

Add a 1/4" broom material from the base of the guard, dropping around 3 to 4 inches, allowing material to go through, but dust won't nearly as much.
-
I think it would be cool if you did a vid on the business side of thing, such as taxes, accounting, maybe marketing etc.
-
I've been using my PCS for about 6 years now and I love it. I like the way you made the outfeed table. I have a small shop and my outfeed table doubles as an assembly table.

Has to be Christmas, celebrating our Lords birth! Thanks for the review of the ICS. I have had the 3 hp PCS for about 3 years and love it. Love your new saw though. Big fan of SawStop!

Looks like an advent calendar for the parts.

Cam, I'm from Canada and oh my favourite holiday is Boxing Day, but not because it's similar to Black Friday in the USA. But because this year it is our 30 year wedding anniversary. It's cool that they gave you the saw.

Nice review, and tool. I can attest to the value of buying the best (if you have room and $$). Twenty five years ago I bought a Delta Unisaw (best in class at that time) and it is still going strong. I added an extension table and Biesmire fence (which your fence is based on) and later a drop down roller out-feed. I am sure your saw is better in many ways, but not by much. You will enjoy this for decades!
