That roadgrader operator is really dogging it. He could have spread the stuff in 3 passes. I noticed he has his blade angled the wrong way each pass which just moves the gravel back and forth and never spreads it to the edge. Must be an hourly job. What's even worse is the roller-compactor operator compressing then the grader going back and scraping it up again?@#!

I run a grader for so many years specially highway construction. But I don't understand what his doing

This is a pretty silly way of constructing the base you do not have to compact anything until you finish placing and grading. All the roller back and forth behing the grader is just a waste of time , fuel and money and wearing the roller senselessly

OMG!! Can the guy in the grader please switch the blade to the other side , so the rock will go to the other side where it is needed ? And steam roller guy, wait untill he is done, which might take forever!!!!

You should have added at the end of the intro ...as built by a 3rd world country. Anyone that any knowledge of road building can tell you there is no base there that they are just pushing black top around. I guarantee in 6 months with the rain and heat there it will be a lovely pothole mess. I have been there, I have seen it in person. Just hurry up and get it done as cheap as we can Question how is the family/business going to get off their property now that you have built a "road" that is 12 inches below grade and cut off their access or does not matter to you?

I was about 7 years old and living on a cattle station in Northern Victoria, Australia in the early Sixties when the exact same thing happened along the compacted earth road running in front of the property. I remember being mesmerized by the spindly graders leveling the mounds out. 60 years on here it is again!

Word on the street he is still pushing gravel 4 months later .
