Finally, someone highlighted these straps! I've been using these for years from my moto-camping days. Just a double-looped-end soft strap with lots of functions! I wrapped mine in Paracord, which also comes in handy in an emergency. Plus, Paracord is water and UV resistant and will last for many years outdoors (3 years outdoors in Phoenix sun holding up my sun sails). Thanks! Ho-Ho-Ho!

Amazing! I've never thought of a solution like this. I tour and my bike always has loaded panniers on it, so lifting is an issue. This would work like a charm! Thank you.

When I first watched your older video I did it for my trip. The baggage handler on the train actually thanked me. It was a train back from D.C. to Pittsburgh after the GAP, C&O trail.

I use the foam handle and webbing off those exercise elastic resistance bands, gives a nice comfortable grip. A bit of sewing and some velcro aka yours and 'jobs a goodun".

In the past I used Brompton folding bike carry handle.

Try key words like brompton carry strap or handle. There are bunch of. Some less suitable for bike packing but some really sturdy stuff.

Hand back stitch with some snarled fishing line. Made some repairs to some of mu kit and just... you aren't going to tear the stitching.
