Anyone who calls Perlman mediocre must be tone-deaf. Either that or a music student (students seem to view themselves as experts). This is one of the most beautiful pieces I have every heard.

Two maestros having a musical conversation in the presence of a superb orchestra under the wonderful Zubin Mehta - a piece of joy. Much as I enjoy watching and listening to Perlman it is the depth and tone of the viola which I love.

Pinchas Zukerman is a perfect example of a Violist. Proper technique throughout the entire concert. I wish all the other violist's would follow his technique.

Bravo for Handel/Halvorsen Passacaglia, Mozart Sinfonia Concertante, and the Perlman-Zukerman duo! They all are my all time favorites in music and I wish that I could have played some of this!
