1999, when you could still say "Kanye West" at a Bar Mitzvah.

yo are we sure drake wasn't meant to be a comedian instead of a rapper? this is coming from someone who loves his music, but i never realized how damn funny he was til I saw these sketches. his music is normally a lot more heavy hitting and emotional which is okay, but he seems more comfortable and like himself when he's doing these sorts of routines. or is that just me??

As a fellow black Jew I love and relate to this

One thing Drake has for sure is timing. Music, comedy, hosting, he’s got the rhythm down

Whos here after, "We dont wanna hear you say nigha no more."
  • Kenan Thompson is playing Larry Graham, the bassist and singer for Sly and the Family Stone. He is Aubrey Drake Graham's uncle and is most notably known for creating the slap bass technique! Just a fun fact I thought I'd drop here.

Some Drake trivia: Drake’s uncle is Larry Graham. He sings a song called “One in a Million” — one of the timeless, classic, romantic love songs of all time ♥️

I've never laughed so hard with any other artist on SNL before he is ACE on both acting and singing /rrapping omg Love him and this skit is hilarious lol
  • Didn't actually know Drake was Jewish. That's an interesting fact. Jewish culture and tradition is really interesting. (to me)

One of the best/funniest SNL openings by a rapper/musician, hands down
  • Drake seems so polite and sweet what the heck edit: its been 2 years since I commented this, found out drakes a creep. I take it all back.
