Kirsten, you're absolutely right. The Duchess of Devonshire really nailed it. This cottage and the surrounding area do look like they came from the Jane Austen's world. The cottage is so beautiful, elegant and spacious that I could easily imagine myself living in it.

Thank you so much, Kirsten and Joerg. It's like being in a dream. It's like being lost in a magical time.

She’s done it again! That was such a spectacular episode. You included all of my favorite content —walking through the gorgeous English countryside, staying in a perfect cottage, cooking a deliciously-looking (and I’m sure tasting) dish, scenes of a grand country estate, and cozy reading by the fire. Job very much well done (as usual!). Okay, not that anyone asked, but I have been keeping a little running list of my favorite cottages featured on your vlog, and this one just bumped Charlotte’s Folly out of the number one position! My top three are currently: No.1, The Gardener’s Cottage; No.2, Charlotte’s Folly; No.3, Wolterton Park. Thanks for sharing! ❤

The shot of Kristen walking with all the deer watching was the most beautiful thing..I actually almost started to cry.

I think one of my favorite facets about your videos are your voices. They are so soothing in all the places you take us and I am just so grateful you have made this channel to share your experiences with others. Thank you 😊

Your artistry in choosing the perfect angle of sunlight, the most moving music, the photographic content, the calming voice overs and even making food look better than ever just makes my day. Your talent for knowing what many of us find breathtaking and comforting is really something. Bravo to you both for sharing your unique talent for recognizing the beauty that moves so many of us and documenting it for us all to savor ❤. I can’t wait for the next cottage!

The enchanting voice of Kirsten and the talented drone videos of Joerg...What a peaceful time I had again watching you both. Thank you❤ Love, Sebastian from France
  • How can I ever thank you for the joy you are giving me! You are the same age as my daughter! My dream is to live in a Thatched Cottage with an English Country Garden.
  • What a beautiful cottage. I was expecting Mr Darcy to burst through the door when you were in the sitting room 😂 If it was mine I would have to make more of those two window seats with a seating pad and beautiful cushions. The wallpapers are exquisite and the furniture. How peaceful it must be staying in that beautiful place. Enjoy your stay. ❤

Good morning Kirsten, I was so pleased to see this video because I walk past this cottage at least once a month. I am lucky enough to live about 15 minutes drive from Chatsworth estate and for the last thirty years my husband and myself have walked our three favourite local walking areas of Chatsworth, Longshaw and Hsthersage throughout the year, enjoying the changing scenery of the seasons. I count myself very lucky to have the wonderful Chatsworth estate on my doorstep. Kind regards and thank you for all your beautiful videos 👏👏💐🌸🌺

What a pretty cottage in an idyllic spot....Thank you, Kirsten and Joerg, for showing it to us! The tourism board in the UK ought to be paying you royalties.

Absolutely STUNNING! Oh, how I long to go to the UK! I'm in New England, in the US and I am always aspiring to make my place like an English Country House! My dad and his entire side of my family is from England, but I haven't been since I was a kid. I live there, vicariously through your videos. Just love you both! Thanks for always sharing the splendor with us!
