the misunderstandment of his life makes me cry. he deserved way more than what he got i know he's just a fictional character that was made for everyone to hate but what J.K didn't realize is that we would understand in some way. He only became a death eater to protect his mother. He's a sweet heart but no one understands that. He was taught wrong by his father. He was taught that he had to be this big bad monster so that he would be excepted and once he realized that that was wrong it was to late he had ruined everything. But because of what his father taught him he was to scared to ask for help, he didn't know how to. He wanted to be better but he didn't know how to he was being forced in to something he didn't want to be in and that doesn't make him a bad person. He isent mean he's just broken. and needed help

Draco deserved better than this. As Narcissa said, he's just a boy. He's not evil. He's just misunderstood. He was controlled. Forced to do thing in order to seek approval from his father. He looks up to Lucius and I think Lucius took advantage of it. He was only a teenager when he got the mark and if he didn't do it, his parents would be killed. Honestly, I think he was brave to take the blame for something his parents got themselves into just so they would be protected. He values family over anything else. Being a Deatheter at a young age, tasked to kill someone, that's too much pressure for a single boy to do and yet he still declined help from Snape and insist that he had to kill Dumbledore even though Dumbledore offered help. He's not willing to risk his parent's safety yet he would get hurt and potentially killed just so they can be safe. The fact that his parents don't give him enough attention and validation just hurts me. I wish that someone was there for him when he was going through everything.

I don't understand how people could hate Draco, he's so misunderstood and just wanted someone to love him 🥺 Also fun fact: in the deathly hallows part 2, when Lucius is calling Draco to come over to the dark side, he hesitates because he was waiting to see if anyone would have stoped him.

I feel so bad for Draco like honestly, a lot of people hate him because he's mean and evil, but who was he raised by Lucius...Draco just wanted to make his father proud so all the actions he did were to satisfy his father or Voldemort(under fear). Harry Potter might've been the boy who lived but Draco was the boy who had no choices... Just saying I'm not saying Draco had it the worst every character in hp had their own problems and difficulties they had to go through...
