People often have strong opinions about how they drink their soda. Some people prefer it in a can, others prefer a glass or plastic bottle. While soda companies claim that the recipe doesn't change, there are a few factors that might affect the way you taste a soda depending on the container.

    1. glass (has least and most expensive) 2. can (best out of the bunch for money/benefit) 3. bottle (tastes worst, cheapest)
  • Yall who dont taste a difference, you dont drink enough soda......

I wish they would of included fountain drinks. Coke tastes very different at Whataburger vs McDonalds vs Chick-fil-A. There is a science to fountain machines.

Glass all the way. It's a damn shame that I struggle to get other flavors in glass other than Coke.
  • I don't even drink soda that often and I have an opinion (it's glass bottle, but can is a close second)

I dont mind the containers much when it comes to most soda, but I really enjoy drinking Coca-Cola out of a glass bottle, it just feels more authentic to drink it that way. Plus I prefer the Mexican Coca-Cola that comes in the big glass bottles that has real cane sugar in it as opposed to corn syrup :)

You also have to take into account that most glass Cokes are made in Mexico. This is important, because in Mexico, they use CANE SUGAR instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup which is used in the formula for plastic bottles, and cans. The glass preserves carbonation better than can or plastic bottle. Other than the carbonation, the taste is different due to a different recipe, and not the bottle (Cane Sugar being exclusive to Mexican bottled Coke).

Cans! Drinking from a can makes drinks taste so much better. Second is glass. Plastic just makes everything taste way to sweet and completely change the original taste

Glass bottle will always have the best taste Hands down

Best is opening coke from a can and then drinking it from glass

For me, the main thing plastic bottle has over the other two is the lid being being the easiest to uses and is able to be reattached fine, so it it much more portable, and it’s ease of acquiring. I do prefer can, just love the hiss and crack of opening it up, though I haven’t had glass bottle enough regularly, I feel like I would like it the best.
  • I like the glass for the overall feel and portion control, since I'm cutting back on how much soda I drink and 8oz (or 12oz Mexicoke) is plenty for me on a somewhat regular basis. However, the cans are great for when I don't care about how much I'm drinking, but I try to stay away from plastic bottles.
