Trying to squeeze 550HP out of a Naturally Aspirated LS1 takes quite a bit of work. In this case we have to stroke our factory LS1 to 6.2 Liters, while increasing compression to 11:1.

We are also using Texas Speed PRC heads paired with the Texas Speed BFD cam, allowing use to flow as much air as possible.

We also made sure to install an intake the can flow a large volume of air, and the Holley Low Ram Intake was the secret sauce we needed.

Engine Parts:
JE Pistons
K1 Rods
Manley Crank
Texas Speed Heads
Texas Speed Cam

The video I watched before this, a Junkyard 6.0 Chuck norris cam, headers, factory rec port head swap, Is factory truck intake, 500hp, Engine dino. Gotta love the LS 😁 Mine only has 799 heads so More than likely down 100hp. But ive got like $2500 in it, And that's counting holly Terminator, Talk about eating my words i've been a ford man my whole life. Don't tell anybody.

Not the intake I would have chosen for that set up but to each their own.

Not hard to make 550hp with LS. I took a $1500 junkyard 6.0 (rect port heads) and put in a cam and long tubes. Tada! 550hp. And that was a mild street cam.

Dude is making a big deal like some aftermarket intake is needed to make 550+ HP NA. Factory intake can do that no problem lol

There is a 632 ci N/A mustang Mid 90s body style at Sick summer that ran a 7.49 today and can apparently run faster that that. Low 30s.. thing is sick

How is the hood clearance? I was in the process of building an Ls swapped e46 a few years ago and really the only option on the market was the factory intake. Are you just offsetting the lost torque from the shorter runners with the larger displacement?
  • Need to watch some @richardholdner vids. Short runner intake manifold (like the low ram) perfoms best at higher rpm (above 7000) with s loss of torque and power down low. So intake needs to match camshaft power range for best results.

Looks good but a stock intake would move that air. If your going boost the the Holley is needed.
  • Can I run that intake with a stock wiring harness for the throttle body and fuel injector connections
  • Nice build bro! Was it easier to install the LS with the front bumper,& radiatorsupport removed?
  • @justinlhtx
Holley discontinued that intake and you can’t find a replacement lid

I'd have said go with a Fast 102 combo but let us know how the Holley intake works out.

Change to a high ram and take the stroke in the opposite direction and u can shift at 9-10000 rpm and get 8-900 hp
