Digital Bullet Journal in Apple Notes

Published 2024-01-31
A quick guide to create a Bullet Journal in Apple Notes. It is a typed version of the famous handwitten method, which leverages the capabilities of Apple Notes to create an easy-to-use yet very productive BuJo.

Nice work! Agreed, the most beautiful design. That screen was so satisfying to move around!
  • Love the ideas. Im going to try a more minimalist setup with less manual work

I’ve been using my Apple Notes as a bullet journal for just a short time. I’ve been utilizing the link feature since it makes it so much easier to navigate around the index, collections, etc. You had a lot of great ideas I’ll be implementing into my system and making things even more organized!

This is so good! I've tried so many systems to make my Apple Notes more cleaned up, but they only end up overcomplicating my notes. This looks so clean and functional.

Saving a link to this video in my Apple Notes to reference as I set up my BuJo! Thank you! I’ve been looking for direction like this. ❤

Wow! You‘ve thought about even the last detail and you‘re so close to the original! Great work! Would it be possible to download this notebook as a template?

Thank you for this! Unfortunately my iPad won’t let me use the >> option and neither do the links work on my MacBook or iPad (both are on the latest versions of iOS) this makes the index moot.

Well, you achieved your objective. Your method is very creative. But what you have done is taken the (limited) functionality of old technology (pen and a paper notebook) and incorporated it into a newer technology (computers). This is like applying the wooden wheels of horse drawn carts of the 19th century into today's automobiles, when rubber tires are far better for transportation. I think it would be far more effective for people who are entrenched in the pen and a paper notebook technology to learn to use the Apple Calendar and Reminder apps (and Note, of course).

Why complicate your life so much and spend a lot of time reinventing the bicycle? 🤷🏻‍♂The calendar and reminders work perfect. 👍🏻
