It’s rare to find humility in someone who comes from money. It’s even more rare to find someone who comes from money and doesn’t squander everything his/her parents worked hard to build, but instead made it even bigger and better. Thanks for sharing your inspiring story.

He's right about emails, phone calls and texting. Nothing beats eye to eye contact when looking for someone's true intentions.

OK, speaking as an old salesman for 44 years, the most important part of this video is at the end, and David you are so right about the importance of direct personal contact for success. I don't care where the technology goes in the future, this will always be the case for human beings. Beautiful store, but I would never rest my elbow on the fender of my 288 GTO even if it's Kevlar!

I came here form Doug's video of Ferrari SF90. Wow. What an inspirational story. After all the success you still seem humble, sincere and honest. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you Mr Lee for taking the time to make this film. Your message about your five points strongly resonated with me. I am an Australian living in Lucerne Switzerland and I feel very strongly that through hard work, vision and persistence, the opportunity will show itself to me at the moment that it is meant to. It has been great to watch through your social media an example of what I aspire to be. I am very grateful to you and others like you, who show that it is very realistically possible to aim high and achieve it. Once again, Thank You.

It’s so hard to find genuine business advice and stories from those who did it themselves. As a fellow entrepreneur with a growing business, I appreciate your insights. Thanks!

I freaking love this guy. He's the real deal. Humble, meek and kind. And he DRIVES his cars too. Props to him.

Mr. Lee, you earned it…standing tall upon your Father’s wholesale legacy and I’m quite sure they noticed your persistence coming back on the hour, every hour, for multiple years. You’re the personification of integrity and work ethic paying off and as others have mentioned you’re remarkably humble. I’ve always looked forward to your appearances on Jay Leno’s channel and I’m glad I now have the opportunity to be a new subscriber on yours. Appreciatively…

a lot of people have the belief that it takes a certain level of dishonesty to reach your goals. this is another honest man with integrity that is exactly where he wanted to be.

The company I work for, Proterra, here in Walnut, CA, recently went IPO. David, yours is a very inspirational story. You didn’t take shortcuts or get on the shady deal side. Persistence, Integrity, Conviction, and Honesty. No question you deserve your successes, David. I see your Rowland Heights/Walnut location all the time traveling down 60. Cheers to you!
  • There's something I've been chasing for the past 1 year, I've never felt the need to stop, this is inspiring ...
  • @Itsyaboy88
What an absolutely wonderful human. I really love the spirit of this man. humble and kind.
  • David, this is a fantastic story. I could just picture what you went through and the disappointment post each European trip. I could also just picture you in disbelief when the offer was officially made. That is a true testimony to integrity and persistence! Great video! I have subscribed and looking forward to great videos like this one in the future.
