"If you EVER threatened my daughter again I will punch you right in the nose. It won't hurt, I am not strong..but at the very least you will be embarrassed that you got punched in the nose by a not-strong mathematician.." 🥺😂
  • I love that kitchen scene. He was satisfied after she answered every question. He just wanted some answers I love the fast-paced talk in the show.
  • i love that the funniest character in this show has literally nothing to do with the comedy industry that this show is about

"Because if I come home and she's moved me into the kids room, I'll have to kill you." "I understand." "I'll feel bad about it, but it'll have to happen." 😂😂😂

I grew up with a Philosopher / university prof. father and because of that I adore Abe, and especially Abe interacting with his family. 10,000 books, sweater vests, calmly threatening death.. it's all true! 😂💜

The real irony of this whole thing is at the beginning of the show, Midge was closer to her mom and didnt really talk to her dad much, but as the show progresses, especially after he finds out about her comedy career, she becomes closer to her dad, and her mom has basically written her off.

    It won’t hurt, I’m not strong! 😂⚰️

"you what. This is outrageous. how can you keep a secret like this from your father?" Miriam shocked face. Inside papa's head: "well go along! I don't want to spend half a month in Paris again!"

Huh, so this is how a healthy father daughter relationship looks like.

The dad is awesome. So it’s pretty clear where she got her comedy genius from.

I love Abe with all my heart. The acting just cracks me up all the time!

The okay scene is the most dad thing ever. I bet my dad will want to drop me off at work for the first few days and then wait outside for a minute or two as if I was about to go there write my 5th grade exams.
  • when he yelled at her what was the one thing I told you...and she says "not to pick a weak man" I felt that...it was like watching a jewish version of my cuban father

I loved Tony Shalhoub in Monk. I’ve been watching it and rewatching it for years. So I thought I would have a hard time watching him play a different role, but he’s great. The man can act

As someone who grew up without a Father, I'm jealous of Midge. She's lucky to have someone who cares that much about her and helps her when she most needs it.
  • Love Love Loveeeeeee Abe! One of my favorite quotes “Are they paying you? In money?” 😹😹😹😹😹
