The Internet Is Infected

Norton Software destroyed my most expensive computer. Now the cheap laptop inflicts Microsoft control over my computer. It makes full screen open without my ever wanting it. It pops up ads, intrusions and loads programs that place desktop logos I don't want and never approved just because I allowed Microsoft to perform an update. I would never list anything important on my computer, certainly no bank info, ever. Computer use is on the way out. I am learning to never use the computer for anything except just ordinary e-mail. I use a stupid phone and have never purchased a smart phone, and never will. I own no other devices like blackberries, or tablet computers. When they manage to ruin the ;Laptop, I throw it away buy another cheapo model and still get my e-mail. Verizon has disconnected my phone from any text message ability in bound or outbound, that has served me well. The phone makes calls, and receives calls. Most calls only get to a voice recorder, few of them ever get a reply from me. I Never joined Facebook, Twitter or Snapchat, and never will, all that is useless and dangerous to allow near you. Everyday more people join me. 7 years ago I ended my cable TV subscription, just not worth paying for, everything is fake or subjected to constant advertising messages. I refuse to pay to watch advertising, it simply is stupid to do that.

The internet is not a truck, its a series of tubes.

is there a best antivirus or the best antispyware.and at yahoo i read about the confiker worm and its not striking because it is busy evolving so it can never be exterminated or been track down.

We were better off without computers!!!

They are too advanced for not to know where the attack is coming from.

10 years later and nothing has changed much.

Thats why I dont do Banking online which is what alot of people are doing today..

Excuse for the bank to not to be blamed for stealing your money . what do you say when you don't be on anything extra?

Eh, the people who get this are the idiots who don't use anti virus/spyware/malware protection and open EVERY last email attachment they get.
If you keep your protection software up to date, run regular scans, ONLY open attachments from trusted sources, and if you get an unusual message from someone on your friendlist, don't open it. I get unusual messaged from friends with that "Hey, I saw a funny pic of you" links a lot, I never click them, no one ever should unless the person really there.

People are FOOLS to do on-line banking etc., and if you must use a credit card, use one with a very small limit  !

@d0mr0cks Common sense says do not put a feature like the come-and-get-me "AUTORUN.INF" feature into a computer, and if someone does common sense says do not buy a computer with that operating system.

interesting.. I havent got one of those in 10+ years... oh right, I'm behind 3 hardware firewalls..
