I love that chalmers asks him to say aurora borealis while in the window just because they haven’t yet done that particular thing and would take any opportunity to break the monotony
  • @MediaMunkee
Chalmers still having the bottle and Skinner still wearing the apron for the final shot were impressive attention to detail for one of these.

"AURORA BOREALIS within your kitchen is quite similar to the smoke coming out of your oven." -Super Chalm

I love how Seymour goes “Superintendent, care to join me?” as he is going out the window, almost like he’s inviting Chalmers to go to Kristy Burger with him
  • "Seymour! The house is on fire!" Seymour: laughs in nihilism This is one of the best versions I've seen come out of the meme's revival.
  • "Well, Seymour, steamed hams." "Yes." "Ehh." Just complete resignation.

    - Ah, superintendant Chalmers, welcome! I hope you're prepared for an unforgettable steamed ham! - Yes, I should be. Peak recontextualization

You know, this time loop is quite similar to the one they have at Punxsutawney
  • @stapler942
"You mean we could have come into this house, sat at this table, and talked about steamed hams a dozen times already?" "A dozen, a hundred, it's impossible to tell."
  • "Well, Seymour, I've never heard anyone use the phrase AURORA BOREALIS ENTIRELY within your kitchen" "Aurora borealis?" Sjjdjsjd i adore this one it's very hilarious for a change
  • Sometimes I wonder if anyone considered doing one where Seymour is honest about the fire and the superintendent responds with “shouldn’t we get out of here then?” And then Seymour does the same yes from entirely within your kitchen
  • You know, this time loop is quite similar to the ones they have in the other Steamed Hams universes.

How I imagine it goes after a very large number of cycles : - Superintendant, I hope you're ready for fast food disguised as my own cooking - Yes, I should be... (Skinner ignores the oven, goes straight for Krusty Burger ; Chalmers walks in, says nothing). - Superintendant, "steamed hams". - Despite the fact that they're obviously grilled... - Yes! - I see. Seymour, your kitchen. - Yes. Eeh, I'm pooped! - Seymour, the house is on fire! - Yes, mother! - Well Seymour, we made it.

you edited the wine bottle into his hand for the last scene just to maintain continuity, 10/10
  • I like how Seymour and Chalmers get a bit creative with their dialogue, but still always keep their luncheon the same
  • @ImFangzBro
I like how Chalmers says "Well Seymour- ah- steamed hams?" at the start, like the knowledge and their old memories of the loop entered their minds right then.
  • @Belicure
I love how when chalmers catches seymour running he just doesn't care to do anything
  • @anomaly7853
This is an interesting concept, of two people being stuck in a time loop, presumably beginning with Chalmers' arrival and ending with his departure, and deciding to endlessly go through motions very similar to those they did on their first time through, most changes from loop to loop simply being comments on the precise sequence of actions they are repeating, save for when Chalmers asked that Skinner say Aurora Borealis Entirely Within His Kitchen.

The idea that every version of this meme is just a groundhog day scenario is really interesting. One day they decide to deliver their lines while singing feel good inc., the next theyre alphabetizing their words, the next one seymour never lies. Theyre just stuck and bored, and every meme is them fighting monotony.
