I am punjabi baniya. when my son touched 18 I started giving him 5000/- as pocket money. out of which he invested 3000//- pm in a sip and 2000/- in personal expenses. now he is 22 and he has bought a gold chain as true investment and also he has some savings left. because he didnt use all the 2000 every month. I never treated him like other typical baniya father. but he has baniya blood and a habit of saving.
