The Initiation: In February 1988, a record store clerk in Sandusky, Ohio, was fatally shot in his van. After discovering a night deposit bag with thousands of dollars in the vehicle, police knew that robbery was not the motive, and began to investigate other possibilities. FBI agents learned that several motorcycle gang members had been stopped nearby on a traffic violation shortly after the murder and theorized that the clerk’s murder may have been a botched hit carried out by a gang member. To locate the murderer, agents had to learn more about the secretive group.

Dark Woods: In June 1973, a young girl was abducted from a state park on the Missouri River while camping with her family. Several months passed with no leads, then an FBI agent took a particular interest in the case. Using a new technique known as criminal profiling, he predicted that the kidnapper would contact the girl’s family on the one-year anniversary of her abduction. When this prediction came true, the FBI agent noted behavioral clues, hoping that they could lead him to the kidnapper.

The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.

Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

My mind works in mysterious ways sometimes & i get 'interesting' ideas. Hearing about biker gang initiations, i thought it would be cool if we had a reverso world where hopeful members would have to perform random acts of kindness to get in. Just an idle thought. 😄

So they not only tormented the mother by having suspects talk on the phone with her, but then also wanted her to fly out and meet in person with suspect(s)? I mean, why not have them all gather and do a re-enactment!? Please tell me that this would never be done by the FBI today.

Now that my son is studying to be a pathologist, I have been binging on these types of shows: FBI Files, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, et.al.; intoxicating.

I love the FBI files but it's amazing how movie technology has moved on. The original intro music (maybe the encoding?) sounds like it was played inside a tin can 🤔😆

Of all people, why would they change the name of Susie's abductor? David Meirhofer even killed himself before his day in court.

dark wood: just goes to show you need a dog in the family. Dog first, not pet first.

why would adults be in the camper instead of a tent. Who would leave their kids out in the open instead of an area that you can lock when they're unsupervised. ?? what were they thinking?. it's this kind of stupidity that ends with things like a kidnapping

Nobody kidnaps some little kid and keeps them alive, or almost nobody. Sadly, most times the child is murdered in a day or 2 after abduction.
