This is just a general discussion about fuel economy.
Personal results may be different
and it really depends on driving style, how well maintained the car is(check vacuum hoses!), ambient temperatures, tyre pressures, people in the car/luggage etc.
I definitely noticed mine was using way more fuel (11/L)than normal in winter while doing a lot of short trips around town, stopping and starting the engine a-lot and the engine not warming up to operating temperature will have an impact not only on fuel economy but engine life as well. Sounds like a need to make another video on this aspect of engine life!

    When will people understand avg economy isn't cruising on the highway, avg driver is like 80% around town. This car is 12L/100km in reality from my experience

    My 2011 Aurion grande does 8l/100km on the highway and 10l/100km in the city It shows 12l/100km because of idle time I get 570km (350 miles) on a full tank of gas The power makes it worth though, 0-60 in 6.5s all day and no mechanical issues!

    My Aurion gets 6.5litres/100km on open road most times! Have had 5.5/100 klms on occasions which is astonishing considering it's a V6 sedan.

    My 2010 2.4 averages 7.5 mostly highway driving. Specs say average is 11! No way. That's amazing economy considering it's a V6! 👌 Fuel here in NZ is over $3 now

    I have a 2009 Aurion. It's soo much more economical than my BA XR6 Falcon. It's soo much quicker than my 2005 V6 Camry.

    So that 7L/100 is that the average from the road trip? What's urban average? And does the car also display instant liters/100? Although toyotas don't act up easily when thier o2 sensors are wearing/aging, you would be shocked with the improvements when you get them done. Thanks, love your work and hope to hear from you.

    My 2008 Aurion gets better economy on 95 than 98. Engine is also quieter and more responsive.

    I think there is no need for 98 petrol. These things are designed for 91.
