I'm no longer working on Realm of the Mad God

ive only been playing for 7 months but i gotta say the music really made the game that much more enjoyable <3 thank you

Sorry to hear about this experience. That sucks. You must have felt conflicted handing over the rights to your music... but I think I would have done the same thing.

The game just feels so empty without your tracks now. "Music isn't a big priority" my butt.

Being exploited as a young creative will always be a painful experience, but it's also a learning one. While it's a great shame that you sunk so many hours and so much work into this project only to feel dejected and frustrated with its treatment and yours, it's thankfully not all for nothing. You can take some solace in the fact that the work you did is a testament to your own creativity and professionalism, that it sharpened your skills considerably and even though the end of the experience is rife with disappointment, you're only going to move upwards from here. You're exceedingly talented, Wangle and I know you're going to do even greater things.

If I make a game Line's going to be in charge of (and get paid for) every audio design thing 'cause video games in general need more CRONCH If you need me, I'll be playing the far superior Realm of the Dad Bod.

The RotMG team needs to take a lesson from how Hades' music works. Not just the tracks themselves, but how/when they play/stop playing.

I completely understand. Every single point is a very minor point, but they all build up to a massive problem. And when it goes on for years like that, it just eats away at your soul. Death by a thousand tiny cuts can be hard to put into words, but it is no less disheartening than one massive stab in the back.
